Local Love: Mandy + Will

Mandy: “I saw him on Zoom and he made my heart go boom!” Will first caught my eye on a Zoom meeting for one of our Master of Arts in Teaching courses. We had mutual friends and got invited to the same graduation party in June 2020.

Will: I saw her grilling mushrooms at the party. I was standing by the food table (of course) when she came over. I pointed out the multiple types of olive oil that the host had lined up. I remarked that you know its of the highest quality when it’s in the smallest bottle, and she laughed out loud. That laugh got me good.

Mandy: Will managed to hunt me down using our University email the morning after we met. I suggested going out for brunch that day and a hike. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
