When I saw Ben playing so lovingly with the kids in Jamaica, I just had a feeling I was going to marry him one day. In 2018, we went to Jamaica for a mission trip. Ben and I knew each other through church but mainly through my younger brother because they were best friends. It wasn’t until that trip in high school that we realized there might be something there.
After we had been dating for around two years the Lord changed my heart when it came to where I was going for college, and I transferred to Liberty University in Virginia. We went through long distance for two years before we proposed two days before I went back for my last semester. We had been together for four and a half years before we were married in May!
