Local Love: Rachel + Dyllan

When we first met, Dyllan asked me for coffee, and I actually turned him down! A few months later, he asked me to go to a small Morgan Wallen concert at the fairgrounds, and I’m so glad I decided to go. We had an amazing time, found out how much we had in common, and we’ve been inseparable ever since!

At the time, we attended different colleges and were 4 hours apart. The distance was hard, but we made it work, taking turns driving to see one another every chance we got. The summer after I graduated, we took a trip to Florida to celebrate. Dyllan proposed on the first day there! As we were laying on the beach, a boat went by that had a screen filled with advertisements. Suddenly our picture popped up on the screen with the words, “Rachel Marie, will you marry me?” It was the most romantic gesture, and I can still hear the cheers from everyone around us. We spent the rest of the trip celebrating our engagement and came home to all our family and friends, putting together a surprise engagement party for us. That’s when the wedding planning began!

Our wedding day was something so perfect it’s hard to put into words. The pictures speak for themselves. Everything went smoothly, and we were grateful for all our wonderful vendors, friends, and family that helped it all come together. We had the time of our lives and always look back on the pictures and videos.
